1. Introduction
These Terms govern your use of qrystalpharmacy.co.uk (the "site"), our online booking and nomination forms, and the in-store NHS and private services we provide. By using the site or our services you agree to these Terms.
Qrystal Pharmacy is a community pharmacy registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Our Superintendent Pharmacist is Manisha Galande. Our trading address and contact details are at the foot of this page.
2. Regulation and clinical responsibility
All clinical services on this site are provided by registered pharmacists working within their scope of practice and the standards set by the GPhC. NHS-funded services follow the relevant NHS England service specification (e.g. Pharmacy First, the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service, the seasonal flu and COVID programmes).
Nothing on this website is a substitute for an emergency. If you or someone you are with is seriously unwell, call 999 or attend your nearest A&E. For urgent but non-emergency advice, call NHS 111 or visit 111.nhs.uk.
3. Acceptable use of the website
When using the site you agree to:
- Provide accurate information in any form you submit.
- Use the site only for lawful purposes and for your own clinical care (or that of someone you are authorised to act for).
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access, scrape data, or interfere with the site's security.
- Not impersonate another person or submit a nomination on someone else's behalf without proper authority (e.g. lasting power of attorney).
We may suspend or revoke access to any service if these conditions are broken.
4. Online bookings and consultations
Booking a slot through this site is a request, not a guaranteed appointment. We will confirm by email or phone within one working day. Walk-ins remain available during opening hours.
If you need to cancel or reschedule, please give us at least 24 hours' notice where possible so we can offer the slot to another patient. Repeated no-shows for paid services may incur a fee.
Some services (for example Pharmacy First or the NHS Pharmacy Contraception Service) require an in-person clinical assessment. We can only complete those services if you attend the appointment in person and provide the information our pharmacist needs.
5. NHS prescriptions and services
NHS pharmacy services are free at the point of use within their service specification. Where NHS prescription charges apply, you must declare your charge or exemption status accurately. False declarations can result in a fine of up to £100 plus the prescription charge, recovered by NHS England.
When you nominate Qrystal Pharmacy via the Electronic Prescription Service, you authorise us to receive prescriptions issued by your GP electronically and to dispense them in line with NHS regulations. You can change or cancel your nomination at any time.
6. Private services and pricing
Private services such as Travel Clinic, Private Blood Tests, Weight Management, and Allergy Testing are provided on a paid basis. Pricing is confirmed at consultation; we will always tell you the cost before any service is supplied.
Payment is due at the point of service unless we agree otherwise in writing. Card payments are processed by our PCI-DSS-compliant payment processor; we do not store card numbers on our systems.
Refunds for private services are considered on a case-by-case basis. We will refund any payment for services we are unable to provide for reasons within our control. We cannot refund services already delivered, except where required by law.
7. Intellectual property
All content on this site — including text, graphics, the Qrystal Pharmacy name and logo, blog articles, and software — is owned by Qrystal Pharmacy or our licensors. You may view and print pages for your personal, non-commercial use. Any other reuse requires our written consent.
Some images are licensed from third-party photo libraries and remain the property of their respective creators.
8. Medical disclaimer
Wellness articles and service information on this site are general in nature and not a substitute for personalised clinical advice from a registered healthcare professional. Always speak to your pharmacist, GP, or another qualified clinician about your individual circumstances before making decisions about medication or treatment.
9. Limitation of liability
We take care to keep this site accurate and to provide our clinical services to a high standard, but we do not exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Subject to that, our liability for any claim arising from your use of the site or our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question (if any). We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, loss of profit, or loss of goodwill.
10. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or end your access to the site or any of our services if you breach these Terms, if a clinical or safeguarding concern requires it, or if continuing the service would be inappropriate (for example, where we cannot safely supply a medicine).
You can stop using the site at any time. Where you have been registered for a service such as EPS nomination, you can ask us — or any other pharmacy — to remove that nomination at any time.
11. Governing law
These Terms and any dispute arising from them are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that you can also bring proceedings in the courts of your home country if you are a consumer based elsewhere in the UK.
12. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms when our services, regulations, or technologies change. The "Last updated" date at the top of the page reflects the latest revision. Material changes will be highlighted on the site for at least 14 days before they take effect.
