Onboarding visit
Our pharmacist visits your home, reviews current systems, meets your medicines lead, and walks through how MDS trays, MAR charts, and delivery schedules will integrate with your routine.
Qrystal Pharmacy partners with care homes across London to deliver safe, accountable medication management — from monitored dosage trays and MAR charts to clinical reviews and on-call pharmacist advice.
Running a care home is hard. Medication management is one of the most complex, audit-heavy parts of it — and getting it wrong has real consequences for residents, staff, and CQC ratings. Qrystal Pharmacy works with residential, nursing, and supported-living homes across London to take that pressure off your team while keeping your residents safe.
Our service is built around three things: accuracy, accountability, and time saved. Every resident gets a monitored dosage system (MDS) tailored to their prescription cycle. Every administration round is supported by a clear MAR chart. And every home has named pharmacist contacts who know your residents and your processes.
We're a CQC-friendly partner: our records, audit trails, and incident reporting are designed around what your inspectors will ask to see. We also run regular medication reviews — clinical pharmacist sessions where we review residents' regimens for unnecessary medicines, interactions, and opportunities to deprescribe.
We work with a range of regulated care settings across Greater London:

Each resident is registered on our care-home dispensing system with their consent (or that of a relative or LPA). We liaise with their registered GP to set up nomination and confirm current prescriptions.
We move residents to a synchronised 28-day cycle so prescriptions, MDS trays, and MAR charts arrive on the same predictable schedule. Most homes see admin time fall by 30–40% within two cycles.
Same-day deliveries, named pharmacist contacts for queries, quarterly clinical medication reviews, ad-hoc supply for new admissions, and audit-ready records on demand.
There's no charge to your care home for our service. Residents pay the standard NHS prescription charge per item unless they're exempt (most care-home residents are exempt by age or income).
Typically 2–3 weeks from initial contact to first synchronised cycle. We can supply individual residents from day one if you need to start sooner.
We provide same-day urgent supply Monday to Saturday. For Sunday admissions we coordinate with local out-of-hours services and supply first thing Monday morning. Your pharmacist contact has a direct line for urgent queries.
